Actual Patient Befor and After Photos

Before Porcelain Veneers

After New Upper and Lower Porcelain Crowns SeatedOur Patient had old unhealthy amalgam fillings, and an old metal bridge and crowns. These old restorations began to fail our patient. A new bridge and crowns were attached to fill in the space left by extractions. This helped solve her health and restorative needs.

At our practice, placing porcelain veneers or crowns is a popular way to enhance your smile. Porcelain veneers are thin laminates that are placed onto the front portion of your teeth to enhance the esthetics of your natural smile. Veneers can correct crowding, chipped, misshapen, or discolored teeth. Porcelain veneers or crowns are an excellent replacement for composite bonding, and the process is less invasive than being fitted for crowns – porcelain simply covers the imperfections in your own smile.

Porcelain veneers or crowns are extremely lifelike and hold their radiance, unlike bonding which, over time, can appear unnatural. Despite porcelain’s translucence, it is an extremely strong material. Veneers come in a wide range of tooth colors, so finding your perfect match is easy. At our practice , porcelain veneers and crowns are considered permanent restorations, and they can be expected to last for many years. Dr. Kuack uses only the highest quality materials for his porcelain veneers or crowns to ensure that they remain brilliant and stain-free long into the future. Another benefit of Porcelain is that there are no food restrictions - once they are cemented you can eat normally (apples, corn on the cob, etc.).

If you have metal crowns on your teeth, and are unhappy with their appearance, they can be replaced at our office with porcelain to give you a more natural, attractive smile. Porcelain veneers or crowns can also be used for cosmetic repositioning, also called “instant orthodontics,” as an alternative to traditional metal braces or retainers.

      Dental Bonding

At our office, dental bonding with tooth colored, composite resin is used to repair a number of cosmetic imperfections. Dental bonding can be used to fill gaps between teeth, fix chipped teeth, and to cover stains on the tooth’s surface. At our practice, the dental bonding process is simple. First, resin is applied to the teeth in layers until the desired thickness to complete the repair is achieved. Once the resin is dried, Dr. Kuack buffs the bond to the ideal shape and texture so that it looks natural and undetectable.

Dental bonding is a procedure that will last approximately three to five years with proper maintenance. It is a cost effective alternative to permanent restorations like porcelain veneers and crowns, that will give you the beautiful results you want.

“Laser Tooth Whitening” or Zoom2! ™ Whitening

Getting a white, sparkling smile is easier than you have ever imagined. Our  practice offers Zoom2! ™ whitening, a type of laser tooth whitening, to our patients. This revolutionary tooth whitening procedure takes about an hour to make your teeth dramatically whiter, by up to six to ten shades. Zoom!™ whitening requires only one visit to our office and gives you great results.

Many patients at our practice have discovered the benefits of laser tooth whitening. The light we use is not actually a laser, but a patented whitening lamp. During the treatment, whitening gel is applied to the teeth and then activated using the unique Zoom2! ™ whitening lamp. Deep stains and discoloration from coffee, soda, tea, tobacco, and even prescription medication are removed instantly! Zoom2! ™ whitening is a great alternative to traditional whitening methods that use trays and gradually show results over time. With Zoom2! ™ results are fast and generally produce whiter results than alternative whitening methods.

Periodontal Therapy

Did you know that not all dental cleanings are created equal?

 periodontal disease

You could have periodontal disease and not even know! In the early stages of periodontal disease there is little, if any, pain; therfore you may not notice the gradual onset of puffiness and occasional bleeding. Without thorough removal, toxins from plaque cause the diesease process to continue. Periodontal disease left untreated may result in extensive bond destruction and possible tooth loss.

VIZILITE Oral Cancer Screening

Fortunately, there's a simple technology to help in your fight against oral cancer. ViziLite Plus aids in the early identification of oral abnormalities that can lead to cancer. Cleared by the FDA, ViziLite Plus allows dentists to offer superior care to patients. Annual ViziLite Plus exams can be integrated with exsisting patient services, improving patient care and creating a positive financial impact in dental practices.

Diagodent
Diagodent Readings

Have you ever looked in the mirror and wondered: IS That just a stain or is it a Cavity?

Treatment decisions require a higher degree of certainty. The DIAGNOdent laser caries detection aid removes the doubt from treatment decisions regarding hidden caries (Cavity) or questionable stained grooves. The device's ability to see into pits and fissures enables dentists to treat sub-surface caries (Cavities) lesions with confidence.

Laser

Dental Laser Therapy

Why our patients say "yes" to Laser Treatment. Patients are relieved when they are offered the Laser treatment alternative. Fear of periodontal diesease treatment vanishes when they find out no scalpel will be used and no sutures are needed for healing.

How does it Work?

After the removal of tartar a small amount of light energy from a laser is directed through a tiny fiber. This light energy aids in reducing bacteria associated with the disease. After the area is thoroughly cleaned, the body can heal the area naturally.

White vs. Silver Fillings

Silver Filling
Silver or Amalgam Fillings use a dark grey or silver color material. This material can stain your natural tooth and many patients find the color unappealing.

white filling
Composite or White Fillings use a material that can be shaded to match your natural tooth color. This type of filing materials gives our patients oral health a strong and functional look to their restorative needs. Likes all restoration they are not forever and may need further treatment .

Root Canal Therapy Root CanalThe photo above shows the third tooth on the right with a completed root canal. This therapy is treatment of a tooth whose end result is the elimination of infection. Usually the abscess originates from a bacterial infection that has accumulated in the soft pulp of the tooth. This can result from the tooth having severe decay, not being able to heal itself after a filling treatment, or due to blunt force trauma.
